Several Marketing Derby Bondholders have been named as finalists in awards recognising Derbyshire’s best businesses, organised by East Midlands Chamber.

At its recent ‘President’s Celebration’ event, the shortlists for the chamber’s awards in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire were revealed.

And numerous Bondholders feature in the Derbyshire shortlist.

Three Bondholders will be vying for honours in the Collaboration of the Year Award category – Vaillant, YMCA Derbyshire and Embark Federation (BH).

Embark and YMCA Derbyshire will also be hoping for success in the Education & Business Partnership of the Year Award category, alongside Althaus Digital.

Truly SMB is also up for a brace of honours – the Digital Transformation Award and the Small Business of the Year Award – while Broadhurst Digital and Juggling Octopus are in the running for the Micro Business of the Year Award.

Bloc Digital is a finalist in the Commitment to People Development Award category.

Bloc is one of three Bondholders in with a chance of winning the Excellence in International Growth Award, alongside Cosy Direct and Midland Lead.

And in the CSR Leadership Award category, Ascentant Accountancy and Upbeat Clean will be going for glory.

In terms of individual awards, Vaillant’s Rebecca Carter is up for the Apprentice of the Year Award.

The overall Business of the Year Award will be announced at the awards ceremony, which will take place on 26 March at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium.
