A number of Marketing Derby Bondholders carried off awards at the annual Mainframe Awards.

Organised by Mainframe, an initiative based at QUAD, the awards highlight and recognise digital and creative businesses across Derby and Derbyshire.

And at the recently held 2022 awards ceremony, a number of Bondholders tasted success.

Among them was Lesley So, founder of drinks firm So Good Kombucha, who won the Make and Trade Award.

So Good Kombucha was the winner of Marketing Derby’s Rising Star competition and Lesley delivered the Dare to Dream slot at the inward investment agency’s recent Annual Business Event.

The Best Local Network category was won by Derby Swap Shop, which was the winner of the 2021 Rising Star competition.

Also shortlisted in this category was Derby’s Finest, which is backed by Claire Twells, from Smith Partnership and Amanda Strong, from Mercia Image Print.

The winner of the Creativity for Good category was Ava Hunt, for a collaboration between Ava Hunt Theatre CIC, Sinfonia Viva and Orchestra Live.

Several Bondholders were also finalists for this year’s awards.

They included video production company Goldbox Productions, which had been shortlisted for both team and individual honours.

It was up for Best Digital/Creative Start Up, while Odhran Taylor was a finalist in the Emerging Digital/Creative Star (under 25) category.

Other shortlisted Bondholders included MacMartin, Think3 and the University of Derby.
