Tracy Harrison, chief executive of Safe and Sound, said: “As always, the Derby business community has come up trumps to help us mark 20 years of our amazing charity and we are very grateful to everyone for their support.

“We look forward to celebrating this milestone alongside staff, trustees and supporters both past and present, as well as some of the young people and families who have re-built their lives thanks to the work of Safe and Sound.

“I hope that this event will not only celebrate the progress we have made in the past 20 years but also raise awareness that every child and young person – regardless of who they are, where they live or their family circumstances – is vulnerable to grooming and exploitation both online and in person.

“That is why we are committed to remaining highly visible in local communities – whether that is in local parks or at schools – to highlight the dangers, provide support and give reassurance that we are here to help and protect young people whenever they need us.”
