Mitre Group

Mitre Group has been delivering training and professional qualifications since 1992 and during that time our values have not changed. Our team spend time to understand the needs of each learner and organisation to provide the best service possible and our training programmes are designed to deliver content in an exciting and memorable way that avoids four walls and a screen wherever possible.

Sound good? Mitre has two distinct training offers to choose from.

Since 2011, Mitre Group have proudly been providing quality Spectator Safety Training to sporting, security and events organisations. With a clear vision to surpass standards required by law, our delivery and training programmes go above and beyond to support staff and Managers with the knowledge to protect spectators who gather at their venues. This provides those with a responsibility for safety with a feeling of confidence and control over the events they host. Our knowledge is exceptional, our experience is second to none and we continue to grow our network of partners who happen to be some of the best trainers in the industry.

In 2022, Mitre Group rejuvenated and relaunched our experiential learning products with fellow bondholder Mount Cook Adventure Centre to meet the needs of businesses post-pandemic. By giving you something to do and not just something to learn, you will leave confident in applying new leadership and management, project management and teamwork skills. The interactive and inclusive tasks you will complete have been designed by our experts to ensure that everyone can enjoy and benefit from this style of learning.

Being based on the river Derwent, we understand Derby’s industrial history and engineering heritage. However, moving towards a greener future we know there will need to be a change to the theme of our city. This will bring a new culture to the county, one that focuses on regeneration, sustainability and community collaboration. This is going to have to be driven by the actions and behaviours of our businesses.
