Clowes Developments has announced it has completed a group of new units at one of its business parks.

The firm, alongside lead contractor Roe Developments, has achieved practical completion of Plot 1 at Stud Brook Business Park, Castle Donington.

Together, they have successfully delivered five high-quality industrial, warehouse and trade counter units, developed speculatively to meet growing occupier demand.

The units range from 3,234 sq ft to 4,653 sq ft and sit in a highly prominent position off the Castle Donington bypass, just moments from East Midlands Airport and the M1 linking the East Midlands major cities.

The units have achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’ and an EPC rating of ‘A’.

They are photovoltaic roof panel-ready and incorporate 10% natural rooflight panels to maximise internal daylight.

Each unit benefits from its own level-access loading door, floor-to-ceiling double-glazed glazing, and a dedicated entrance, making them ideally suited to trade counter, industrial or warehouse operators.

James Richards, director at Clowes Developments, said: “We are proud to present these brand-new trade counter units at Stud Brook Business Park, delivering much-needed, high-quality commercial space at a time when supply of small to mid-sized units remains extremely limited across the region.

“Our decision to build speculatively reflects our confidence in the local market.

“With excellent transport links and strong demand from a diverse range of occupiers, we anticipate significant interest in these new units and look forward to welcoming new businesses to the park.”

Tim Gilbertson, director at FHP Property Consultants, which is marketing the units alongside NG Chartered Surveyors, said: “Credit again to Clowes Developments for speculatively building out top quality industrial/warehouse/trade counter space at Stud Brook Business Park, Castle Donington.

“With the units now ready for occupation and likely to suit a wide variety of occupiers, we are hopeful these buildings will let quickly.”
