A number of Marketing Derby Bondholders have tasted success in awards which recognise the best of culture, music, food and drink in the city.

BEAR, Dubrek Studios and Derby Museums’ Museum of Making were all recognised in the TRENDИG Awards Derby 2026.

BEAR was named Best Coffee House, Dubrek Studios Best Culture Hub, while the Museum of Making won the Arts and Heritage Award.

Dubrek was recognised for being “a cornerstone of Derby’s creative ecosystem”.

By day, Dubrek operates as a relaxed café and social space. By night, it transforms into a live events hub – the kind of place where first gigs happen, scenes are built and audiences discover something new.

Founder Jay Dean said: “This is the first time Dubrek has actually won anything. so I’m delighted the place has been recognised as doing something valued in Derby.

“Obviously all the other nominees are amazing places, and we all form part of the same cultural fabric.”

Dubrek Studios features in the Winter 2025/26 edition of Innovate. To read the feature click here.
