The Peak District & Derbyshire Tourism Awards aim to celebrate the success and resilience of tourism businesses, while also highlighting the sector’s vital contribution to the local economy.

The 2022 winners were recently crowned – and there was success for Bondholder The Devonshire Group, with The Devonshire Arms at Pilsley winning gold in the Pub of the Year category and The Cavendish Hotel, at Baslow scooping silvers in the Hotel of the Year and Taste of the Peak District & Derbyshire Award categories.

White Peak Distillery, at Ambergate, also won silver in the Resilience & Innovation Award category.

“This year’s awards were a timely reminder of the determination, innovation and commitment of our local businesses who have worked incredibly hard to adapt and rebuild, and to continue to provide visitors with a first-class welcome.”
