Tech firm announces backing for anti-slavery charity
Education first technology company L.E.A.D. IT Services has announced a new partnership with Rebuild East Midlands – a charity which supports survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking.
The Derby firm, which offers managed service IT provision to more than 250 businesses, schools and multi-academy trusts across the UK, has become the latest company to become a ‘Business Ambassador’ for the charity.

The charity helps survivors of modern slavery break the cycle of exploitation and safely rebuild their lives through tailored support including help into education and training.
L.E.A.D. IT Services has joined organisations including Vaillant UK, Embark Federation and the University of Derby as ambassadors.
Managing director Lee Jepson said: “At L.E.A.D. IT Services we are all about meaningful partnerships within our community.
“We are so inspired by the work that Rebuild East Midlands is doing in helping support people all around us who are being exploited in ways that are rarely seen.”
Paul McAnulty, chief executive at Rebuild East Midlands, said: “Our Business Ambassadors project is a great way to work with organisations to shine a light on modern slavery and highlight our shared responsibility to be aware that this remains a very real issue.
“We’re very excited to be partnering with L.E.A.D. IT Services, a company which clearly takes social responsibilities really seriously.”
