Rebuild East Midlands is a charity that exists to empower and assist survivors of modern-day slavery and human trafficking to overcome the barriers they might face in starting a new life, free from slavery.

Working across Derby and Derbyshire, we support individuals to fully access opportunities to embrace a hope-filled future. This is achieved by providing long-term one-to-one practical, advocacy and emotional support, activities and group sessions, as well as wellbeing, therapeutic and coaching support.

Our work helps to build stronger communities and is proven to reduce the risk of re-trafficking. Businesses are key to shaping Derby’s future, its investment potential, and attracting and retaining talent. Through our Business Ambassador programme, we also support businesses to better understand modern slavery, strengthen awareness across their teams, and take practical steps to create safer, more informed workplaces and communities.
