MX Display has marked a quarter of a century in business by investing in new equipment and growing its team.

The large format print, graphic and signage firm has invested hundreds of thousands of pounds in a selection of new state-of-the-art software solutions and equipment at its production unit at the Meteor Business Park.

And it has expanded its team with the appointment of Hannah Byatt, who joins as a new studio artworker.

Hannah is an illustrator and has experience as a surface pattern designer and graphic designer, with her skills adding to the existing design team’s capabilities.

MX Display specialises in the production and installation of interior branding graphics, signage and displays across the East Midlands and wider UK.

The business launched in 1996 in Abbey Street, but expanded a few years later to its current, larger site, where it now focuses on delivering print for a range of clients including the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Derby.

David Lister, sales director at MX Display, said: “We are continuing to grow and develop our team in Derby, and welcome Hannah as part of our design studio.

“We look forward to her bringing her skills to the many unique projects we get involved in up and down the country.

“Our bespoke graphics and signage solutions and the diverse sectors we work in makes life at MX Display very varied, and we love the fact that no two days are the same.

“We always enjoy meeting new clients and talking about project and requirements. Finding out what our customers want to achieve means that we can work together and deliver the perfect result.”

As well as investing in the latest equipment, MX Display is also working on ways to increase sustainability and minimise waste within the business.

David said: “We are seeing significant reductions in material, greater efficiency in production and this means that we are reducing our lead times for clients.

“We are always looking for new opportunities and with the investment in our processes, machinery and people hope to continue to build our clients across the East Midlands over the next 25 years.”
