Penguin PR is celebrating after being nominated for a hat-trick of awards recognising its work in the community.

The Duffield Road business, which was founded by directors Sarah Newton and Simon Burch, has been nominated in the East Midlands Business Masters Awards and is up for two awards at East Midlands Chamber’s Derbyshire Business Awards.

The firm will contest the Community Impact Award at the Business Masters Awards.

At the Derbyshire Business Awards, Penguin is a finalist in the Education and Business Partnership category and is also up for the Community Impact award.

Simon said: “We are a small company with a big heart so it’s nice to be nominated for the community work we do alongside our day jobs.

“Every member of our team can give up a day a month to volunteer for a good cause and what’s been great is that many of them have used that time to help the many charity endeavours of our clients.”
