Staff at medical device manufacturer Pennine Healthcare have raised hundreds of pounds for Safe and Sound from a Christmas raffle and jumper day.

The event, in aid of its chosen charity for 2025, brought together colleagues, local businesses and Pennine’s wider community to raise funds to support children and young people across Derbyshire who are affected by exploitation.

The raffle featured prizes donated by a number of Marketing Derby Bondholders, including Derby County, Derbyshire County Cricket Club, Bouquet Wine, HUUB and Morley Hayes.

Almost £750 was raised for Safe and Sound from the raffle and jumper day.

Dan Wilson, strategy, marketing and communications director at Pennine, said: “A huge thank-you goes out to the local businesses whose donations made this possible, and to everyone who purchased raffle tickets or helped get the word out.

“The collective Derby spirit we saw in 2025 shows just how powerful our community can be, and it reflects our ongoing mission to protect life in meaningful ways.”
