Doughnut firm in search of major city locations

Doughnut firm Project D has teamed up with a property consultancy to support its new store expansion plans.

The Derby-based bakery has teamed up with Box Property to acquire suitable retail outlets for the roll out of its latest phase of growth.

The firm has instructed Box Property to undertake a nationwide search to find it permanent bricks and mortar venues in major city locations.

Currently, Project D sells its products online and at pop-up locations.

Max Poynton, from Project D, said: “We’ve seen some phenomenal growth over the last few years and as part of our future plans we feel like now is the right time to start rolling out stores nationwide, giving us a permanent shopfront in city high streets up and down the country.

“The Box Property team has the know-how, contacts and advice to help us achieve that and we’re looking forward to seeing what they can find for us.”
