Bondholders urged to take part in decarbonisation survey

Derby City Council is urging Marketing Derby Bondholders to take part in a survey about decarbonisation.

One of the current administration’s manifesto commitments is around supporting businesses to decarbonise.

But before the council can offer support, it wants to know what organisations need help with in terms of decarbonisation.

In September, East Midlands Chamber and the University of Derby published their latest ‘green growth’ report, which analyses awareness and engagement with green growth, decarbonisation and the uptake of nature-based solutions.

While it found that engagement in green growth – environmentally sustainable economic growth – had tripled among East Midlands businesses since the research began in 2015, it also highlighted some of the barriers to decarbonisation, such as political and economic pressures.
