Several Bondholders, led by Derby County Community Trust, have been helping Hong Kongers gain support and knowledge, which will help them find jobs in Derby.

At a recent event organised by the trust, held at the Reach Centre, on Pride Park, around 100 Hong Kongers attended a CV and Interview Clinic.

At the event, they learned about CVs, job interviews and the process of getting into work within Derby.

The event, sponsored by East Midlands Councils, was hosted by the trust’s education and employability department, and was backed by Lesley So, founder of So Good Kombucha.

The event featured speakers from Cosy Direct, Pennine Healthcare, Loates HR Consultancy and Derby City Council.

The trust said: “We would like to extend a huge thank you to each of them for being there to support the Hong Kongers alongside us and Lesley.

“As a result of this evening many of those who attended have been given interviews and are now hoping to gain employment in their chosen field.”
