Board role for Katapult boss

The boss of international themed attraction designer Katapult has been elected to an influential industry board.

Dawn Foote has been elected by the Themed Entertainment Association membership to join the Europe & Middle East Board of Directors.

The co-founder and chief executive of Katapult, which was recently crowned Business of the Year at East Midlands Chamber’s Derbyshire Business Awards, will begin her three-year term on the board on 1 January.

The announcement was made during the IAAPA Expo, in Orlando, where the Katapult team showcased their latest projects on the exhibition floor.

Dawn said: “I am delighted and proud to have been selected to join the T.E.A Europe & Middle East Board of Directors.

“In the 21 years of running Katapult, I’ve always admired the work that T.E.A does to support the growth and profile of the industry.

“I am looking forward to collaborating with the board and members on the future of the T.E.A.”
