Record total for charity’s race night
Child exploitation charity Safe and Sound is reflecting on the success of its annual race night event, which raised a record amount.
Backed by a number of Marketing Derby Bondholders, this year’s event held at Great Northern Classics raised more than £8,000.

All proceeds will go towards supporting the charity’s work, protecting children and young people from exploitation.
The event was made possible thanks to the generous support of headline sponsor Cosy Direct, alongside Melbourne Print, Davlyn Construction, Timms Solicitors, Gravity Digital, Love Marketing, Wathall’s, Armsons Barlow and Rotary Club of Derby.
Tracy Harrison, chief executive of Safe and Sound, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the success of this year’s Race Night.
“To raise over £8,000, our highest total yet, is incredible and a real testament to the generosity and commitment of our supporters.”
