Bondholders urged to back major schools inclusion event
Marketing Derby Bondholders are being urged to get behind a city-wide inclusion training event, which aims to ensure every child thrives during their time in education.

The Inclusion Training Day will take place at Vaillant Live on 27 November and is expected to attract around 2,500 delegates from more than 65 local schools.
It is being organised by the Derby City Education Inclusion Partnership (DCEIP) – a multi-agency collaboration working across the city with a shared commitment to inclusion.
Its partners include Derby City Council, Derby County Community Trust, Derby College Group and the University of Derby.
The partnership vision is to give every child a true sense of belonging at school.
It works with all education providers in Derby to champion an inclusive culture through its Inclusion Charter, which is built on the principles of inclusive relationships and inclusive provision.
Almost every school in Derby has pledged their commitment to this Charter.
At the Inclusion Training Day, the DCEIP will deliver a city-wide training day, enabling every education provider in the city to bring their full staff team together.
It will explore how inclusion can be lived out by everyone, every day, and everywhere, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and valued in school.
It will also be free to attend, removing barriers and ensuring equity of access.

To this end, the DCEIP is looking for organisations to sponsor the event, supporting both the day itself and ongoing initiatives to drive inclusion across Derby’s schools.
Sponsors will have their branding on all publicity materials, on-screen branding throughout the event – and receive promotion via social media.
There will also be engagement opportunities with delegates, including a stand at the event marketplace, invitation to the Leadership Lunch, and connections with school leaders, teachers, and SEND specialists.

Jo Wilkinson, inclusion partnership manager, said: “We are very excited to be organising this landmark event, which puts inclusivity at the heart of our schools and highlights how Derby City is united in building truly inclusive practice.
“There are no other events like this taking place elsewhere in the country, making it a unique opportunity to showcase the innovative work happening in Derby.
“Working collaboratively is key to bringing together our expertise and making a real difference to all children and young people in Derby.
“We would love to work with sponsors who share our commitment to inclusion, supporting innovative practice while raising their profile across Derby City schools.”
