Themed attraction designer collaborates on new Gladiators experience
International themed attraction designer Katapult has helped design a new experience inspired by the hit television show Gladiators.
The Derby firm has collaborated with Live Nation, MGM, Floor-Jon Films Inc and Patrick Doherty Design to create The Gladiators Experience.
For the first time ever, the attraction will allow fans of the popular BBC television show to become Gladiators contenders – stepping out into the arena to test their speed, strength and skills as they take on iconic challenges.

The attraction, which will span more than 10,000 sq metres, is due to launch at the NEC Birmingham from May 2026.
It will feature some of the show’s most recognisable challenges, including Hang Tough, which tests balance and grip and the legendary Eliminator.
There will also be behind-the-scenes family attractions, a Gladiators training facility and exclusive merchandise.
In recent years, Gladiators has enjoyed a resurgence after returning to screens.
This winter will see the Gladiators Live Tour take on sold out arenas across the UK.
In a statement, Katapult said: “After fans have watched the action-packed show live before their eyes, they will now have a chance to take on the legendary events themselves at the Gladiators Experience.
“From authentic props and exhibits to innovative, low-touch physical activities, every corner has been crafted by the Katapult team and Patrick Doherty Design to bring the excitement of the iconic show to life.”
