Law firm secures major funding deal to power expansion

Law firm Geldards has secured a seven-figure refinance deal, which will provide a platform for long-term expansion and operational growth across the region and beyond.
With offices in Derby and Nottingham, the firm will use the funding from HSBC UK to support both strategic development and targeted growth in key practice areas.
This includes building out its corporate and commercial team, particularly in areas such as employee ownership trusts and business investment and restructuring.
Plans also include scaling up its education law practice, currently based in London, into a nationwide service.

Geldards will continue to invest in technology and innovation, including the rollout of AI tools, to enhance efficiency and improve client service delivery.
