Work begins on next phase of new business park
The Devonshire Group has started work on the next phase of a new Derbyshire business park.
Construction has started on the second phase of Hartington Business Park in Staveley, near Chesterfield, adding around 65,000 sq ft of industrial space to the site.

The development will deliver 11 units ranging from 2,700 to 12,960 sq ft, designed for businesses in advanced manufacturing and clean industry sectors.
The site forms part of a designated tax site within the East Midlands Investment Zone, which focuses on supporting regional strengths in manufacturing and low-carbon industries, with tax incentives available to qualifying occupiers.
Andrew Byrne, group property development director at the Devonshire Group, said: “The East Midlands was the birthplace of the first industrial revolution and is now positioning itself at the forefront of the UK’s clean industries revolution.
“These high-quality buildings will give businesses the space to grow, innovate and collaborate in some of the region’s key growth sectors.
“As part of one of the East Midlands Combined County Authority’s designated strategic areas, we are also looking forward to continuing our relationship with them to bring forward even more opportunities to support growth in the region.”
