Trust partners with heating tech manufacturer
Derby County Community Trust has announced a new partnership with heating and hot water solutions manufacturer Vaillant UK.
Over the next three years, the firm will support the trust’s flagship environmental and sustainability programme, Black White and Green.
Launched in 2021, the programme delivers six weeks of engaging sessions to primary-aged children, focusing on environmental awareness, climate change, reducing carbon footprints and inspiring positive action.

As part of the partnership, Vaillant UK will become the exclusive naming sponsor of the programme and will help the trust reach over 400 students during the partnership period.
Henrik Hansen, managing director at Vaillant UK, said: “We are proud to sponsor DCCT’s Black White and Green programme as we are passionate about equipping young people with the skills and knowledge to become future environmental advocates.
“The Black White and Green programmed aligns perfectly with Vaillant UK’s own sustainability initiatives, as we strive to be at the forefront of the energy transition with our own low carbon heating systems.”
Chris Tomlinson, the trust’s head of business development, said: “With Vaillant UK’s support, we’ll be able to reach even more young people and empower them to become champions for a greener, more sustainable future.”
