Top honour for conveyancing boss

The boss of property, legal and financial specialists Sort Group is celebrating after winning a prestigious industry award.

Kevin Tunnicliffe, chief executive of the Derby-based firm, was named Business Leader: Conveyancer of the Year at the British Specialist Lending Awards 2025, in recognition of his outstanding leadership, innovation and impact on the conveyancing sector.

The awards celebrate excellence in the mortgage, legal and financial services industries, recognising individuals who raise standards, innovate, collaborate, and drive positive change in the specialist market.

The Business Leader: Conveyancer award was awarded to the individual who embodies the ethos of their firm, delivering a consistently high-quality offering and a quick and efficient service to clients.
