The latest Bondholder appointments and promotions

Planning & Design Practice, Pick Everard and Flint Bishop are among the latest Marketing Derby Bondholders to announce new appointments.

Following the introduction of a new organisational structure, Planning & Design Practice has announced the appointment of Richard Pigott as managing director.

With over 20 years of industry experience and having played a key role in the development of the business since 2011, Richard will lead the company through its next phase of growth, innovation and customer-focused excellence.

Alongside the appointment, the company’s existing directors, Jon Millhouse, Lindsay Cruddas and David Symons, will continue in their respective leadership positions, providing continuity, expertise and strategic direction across the business.

They will remain responsible for leading and developing the Planning, Heritage and Architectural divisions.

Multi-disciplinary consultancy Pick Everard has appointed Aditya Sardesai, an experienced architectural designer and project manager, to its Building Safety Act (BSA) team.

Specialising in high-risk buildings, senior BSA consultant Aditya brings a wealth of expertise from his time working across construction, architecture and property development.

A chartered member of the CIOB, he has taken key roles in a variety of projects in the UK, such as hotel and leisure developments, residential, care and commercial builds.

As a senior BSA consultant at Pick Everard, he is supporting clients on a variety of projects across disciplines including education and healthcare.

Aditya said: “Coming from an architectural background with significant on-site exposure gives me a blend of design vision and construction delivery that I think is rare.

“Building safety was a natural next step for me. As a senior consultant in building safety my work with Pick Everard is incredibly varied.”

Derby-based law firm Flint Bishop is continuing to strengthen its team in the north of the country, adding six experienced lawyers, including three senior partners, at its Sheffield office.

Richard Smith joins as partner, head of commercial property (North), and Sheffield office lead.

With more than 25 years of experience and a strong reputation across the Yorkshire property market, he will lead a 13-strong commercial property team spanning Sheffield, Leeds and York.

He is joined by Craig Law, who arrives as partner in the commercial property team, as well as Thomas Roberts, Hollie Scholey as senior associates and Charlie John as an associate.

Paul Trudgill also joins the corporate team as partner
