The latest Bondholder appointments and promotions
Timms Solicitors, Repton School, Chevin Homes, Dains, Azets and Rothera Bray are among the latest Marketing Derby Bondholders to announce new appointments in recent weeks.
Law firm Timms has announced the promotion of wills and probate solicitor Megan Lovell to associate.

Megan, who has spent four years at the firm, specialises in wills, powers of attorney, probate and trusts and estate administration.
She supports clients through sensitive and often emotional life events, helping individuals and families navigate what can be complex legal matters.

The Repton School Group has announced the appointment of Ian McIntyre as managing director of the Repton Family of Schools.

Ian will lead the expansion of Repton’s international schools’ business and further mergers across the UK.
He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of establishing and developing high-performing British schools around the world over the past 15 years.
The Repton School Group educates over 10,000 children and spans three continents, including five schools in the UK and six across the Middle East and China.
Mark Semmence, headmaster of Repton and group chief executive, said: “I am delighted to welcome Ian to Repton.
“His huge experience of developing schools internationally will enable us to continue to grow our portfolio of outstanding schools, offering more and more families around the world a Repton education.”
At housebuilder Chevin Homes, operations director Dan Stack has stepped up to the role of managing director.

Dan joined the company 18 years ago and during that time Chevin has become an established and award-winning developer, renowned for creating bespoke homes across Derbyshire and the East Midlands.
Dan said: “Together with the rest of our great team at Chevin, I am looking forward to building on that success and continue the journey to take the business forward.
“With many new developments in the pipeline and others already on the ground, there are exciting times ahead.”
Professional services firm Dains has announced the appointment of Fiona McSwein as chief client officer, as the group continues its strong growth trajectory across the UK and Ireland.

She joins the firm from SME insurance provider Simply Business, where she held various positions including chief customer officer and VP strategic programmes.
Chief executive Richard McNeilly said: “As we move into 2026, Dains continues to build on the progress of recent years.
“We’ve strengthened our capabilities, continued to integrate across the group and invested in the leadership required for the next stage of our growth.
“Fiona brings an exceptional track record in customer-led transformation, digital innovation and building high-performing teams, alongside valuable experience working with private equity partners in scaling businesses.

Accountancy and business advisory firm Azets has appointed senior tax specialist Trevor Shaw as a partner, strengthening its advisory capacity as the firm expands its East Midlands presence.

Trevor joins from the TC Group and brings more than 20 years’ experience, including senior roles at Mazars, Dains and Grant Thornton across the Midlands.
He will work alongside partners Gary Hyem, Nicola Bridgeman and Shaun Carpenter, as well as liaising with Lewis Aldridge, who leads Azets’ East Midlands audit team.
Lewis said: “Trevor brings a depth of experience to help clients navigate complex tax matters.
“Our office is growing in response to sustained commercial demand from businesses and individuals.”
Finally, law firm Rothera Bray has expanded its family law team with the appointments of managing associate Julie McCrery, associate Sophie Spreckley and solicitor Jack English.

Julie, Sophie and Jack bring substantial family law expertise to the team, advising on matters including complex or high-value financial disputes and business, trust or international assets, arrangements for children, divorce and separation, and nuptial and cohabitation agreements.
Julie and Sophie will be based at the firm’s Derby office, drawing on their extensive experience in both financial and children matters.
Jack will strengthen the team at the firm’s Beeston office, offering support across all areas of family law including both court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution.
