Derbion is calling on keen local photographers to submit images for a new display that will launch in the shopping centre this spring.

Called ‘Capture Derby’, the display will showcase the work of photographers of all abilities, who are encouraged to take images that reflect their local community.

Set to launch opposite Derby Theatre in May, the exhibition aims to feature a range of pictures of Derby and Derbyshire, including nature, landscape, architecture, sports and street images.

A panel of local stakeholders and Derbion employees will select the final images, with as many photos as possible set to go on display in-centre and shared across the Derbion’s website and social media platforms.

Beth McDonald, managing director of Derbion, said: “We hope that ‘Capture Derby’ will showcase some of the incredible pictures that locals have captured of our wonderful community and county over the years, and put a smile on the faces of our visitors and passers-by.”

Images can be sent to capturederby@rewiredpr.com. The deadline for submissions is Sunday 30 April. For more information visit http://www.derbion.com/capture-derby .
