Retailer drops anchor in Sadler Gate

A retailer which specialises in handcrafted luxury unisex jewellery, accessories and lifestyle goods has relocated thanks to a deal secured by FHP Property Consultants.

Anchor & Crew has moved the Basement Shop, Sadler Gate, in the city’s Cathedral Quarter, which is home to a mix of independent and national retailers in addition to a range of bars and restaurants.

The property, which offers 729 sq ft of space, has been let for a period of five years.

Corbin Archer, from FHP, who secured the deal on behalf of private clients, said: “I’m delighted to have let the Basement Shop to Anchor & Crew, who will be a great addition to Sadler Gate as they will complement the existing tenants on the street nicely.

“We got the unit under offer in under one month and it took less than a month to complete, so it was a very quick transaction, which I am very happy about.”
