Property firm’s festive backing for charities

Property firm BB&J Commercial has partnered with charities Safe & Sound, Children First Derby, Friends of the Baby Unit and Padley Group to give toys and essential items to families in need this Christmas.

The firm has created a wish list, which consists of toys and gifts, food, cleaning supplies and other essential items to help families who have been adversely affected by Covid-19 or various circumstances that may put the individuals at risk.

Mark Richardson, partner at BB&J, said: “These local charities are close to our hearts and deal with crucial issues facing many of the most vulnerable in our society including child exploitation, homelessness and poverty. These issues can be all the more emotive and pronounced at Christmas.

“It would be wonderful if the business community can work together to support their causes, not just at Christmas but throughout the whole year.”

A collections tree will be set up at the BB&J Commercial offices, where local businesses and the public can donate various items including food, toiletries, household items, baby supplies, clothing items, toys, and gifts.

Final donations will be collected on the 16 December.
