People urged to have their say on public realm

The University of Derby is hosting a series of workshops where people can share their views on the future of public spaces and landscapes in the city centre.
The collaborative workshops want to hear from local people and organisations about their vision and priorities as part of the development of the new Public Realm Strategy for Derby city centre.

Feedback provided will help the university build a thorough picture of the city centre today – and how it could be shaped for the future.
The university has said it is keen to hear from a diverse range of groups across the community.
The first sessions are due to take place on Friday 17 October – from 10am to 12noon at Artcore Gallery, in Osnabruck Square, and from 2pm to 4pm in The Corolla Lounge, at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium.
Further sessions will take place on Monday 10 November in the Business Hub at the university’s Cavendish Building from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, and on Tuesday 18 November, in The Members Lounge at Derbyshire County Cricket Club from 10am to 12noon.
