New home for bakery firm on the rise

Property consultants OMEETO has helped secure new premises for a growing artisan bakery business.

Blondie Brownie Bakes, run by mother and daughter Debs and Maddy Stanton, has moved its commercial kitchen into The Tangent business hub, in Shirebrook to growing artisan bakery business.

The firm produces and supplies a range of baked treats to pubs, cafes, leisure facilities and dessert shops across the Midlands, as well as creating personalised celebration brownie and blondie cakes and attending several artisan markets and food fairs.

Debs said: “We saw the facilities at The Tangent and the OMEETO team helped us to quickly finalise the lease so that we could install commercial catering equipment and get up and running.

“It is a great space with the bonus of facilities like a manned reception, security and car parking, as well as internet connection, which is vital as we do a lot of wholesale and retail business online.”

OMEETO director Chris Wright said: “We are delighted to welcome Blondie Brownie Bakes to The Tangent. Their arrival shows just what a diverse and flexible offer is available at this business hub.”
