A new film has been made capturing the latest Marketing Derby London Embassy event, which took place in the spectacular surroundings of Lancaster House.

Backed by event partners Smith Partnership, the event brought together 200 guests, including bondholders, investors, ambassadors and politicians from both the Houses of Lords and Commons.

In the past, the historic venue has provided the setting for numerous film and television productions, including The Crown and The King’s Speech.

Now, the latest ‘release’ to be made at Lancaster House is a new film of the London Embassy, made by GoldBox Productions, whose team were there filming on the night. To view the film, click here.

John Forkin, managing director of Marketing Derby, said: “This year’s Embassy really did exceed expectations.

“The 200 attendees from our Bondholder, ambassador and investor communities really made the best of one of London’s most stunning buildings and the speeches were a brilliant showcase of what makes Derby and Derbyshire such a dynamic location.

“As important as it is to celebrate it’s worth noting that – as with all of our embassies – some real business was being done under the radar which will lead to new jobs and investment.”

It was a particularly special event as the London Embassy celebrated its 15th anniversary.

On the night, as well as networking, guests heard from keynote speakers, including Jackie Wild, from SmartParc, the firm behind a high-tech food manufacturing and distribution campus on the outskirts of Derby, and Henrik-Juhl Hansen from Vaillant UK, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of environmentally friendly heating and air-conditioning technology, which has its head office at Belper.

The memorable night was captured by the expert team at GoldBox.

James Heaney, administrative director at GoldBox, said: “Myself and the GoldBox team found it to be an absolute privilege filming the London Embassy event.

“This was not only because it was an amazing and eye-catching venue, but it also offered a great opportunity to connect and create new opportunities with people and businesses.

“This is what we aim to show within our video for the event – with a touch of the GoldBox essence!”
