Independent coffee house, kitchen and bar brand BEAR is set to grow its East Midlands presence with the opening of a new outlet.

The firm, which has two locations in Derby, is set to open its ninth outlet in Lincoln this summer.

It is taking space at the former Three Joes building, in Cornhill Quarter, where it will serve speciality coffee, brunch and craft cocktails.

BEAR has said it will breathe new life into the building, to create a warm and welcoming destination for locals, students, workers, and visitors alike.

The move to Lincoln also marks a natural expansion of BEAR’s already well-established presence in the East Midlands, with thriving locations in Derby and Nottingham.

Craig Bunting, co-founder of BEAR, said: “Lincoln is a city with incredible energy, a rich history, and a real sense of community – everything BEAR is about.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be setting up home in the Cornhill Quarter, and we can’t wait to welcome our new Lincoln friends through our doors this summer.”
