Loates HR Consultancy has announced it has almost doubled in size after appointing four new team members in the first half of the year.

The human resources firm, which is based at Darley Abbey Mills, has also invested in its IT infrastructure to support the development of its management and wellbeing training.

Loates HR Consultancy provides outsourced HR support and management training to SMEs across the East Midlands.

Director Sarah Loates said: “We have seen an uptick in the number of businesses investing in their HR practices, developing team members and making key appointments.

“This year alone, we have delivered several high-value, large-scale projects, including the introduction of pay and grading structures, supporting clients through mergers or acquisitions by facilitating employee transfers, and delivering multiple cohorts of team leadership training programmes.

“Our team growth supports our ethos of long-term relationships, personalised service and adding value for our clients.

“After 12 years in business, we continue to work with our first-ever client, and our latest hires are helping to facilitate our popular Mental Health First Aid training programmes, which we run in collaboration with Derby County Community Trust and Nottinghamshire Hospice.

“In the past 12 months, we’ve delivered over 1,500 hours of mental health-related training, of which we are extremely proud.

“As we continue to grow and evolve, one thing remains clear: it’s not just about expanding our team but our capacity to positively impact the local community and our commitment to values-driven HR.”
