Firm celebrates apprentices’ marathon triumph

Talent services specialist Ford & Stanley Group is celebrating the achievements of four young engineering apprentices it sponsored to run the Manchester Marathon.

Benjamin Saxton, Gracie Clifton, Thomas Beardall and Megan Law, all apprentices from DB Cargo in Toton, joined thousands of runners earlier this month for the event, which took place in Greater Manchester.

Running in aid of Sepsis UK, they raised over £3,300, with more donations still coming in.

Ford & Stanley, which has a longstanding relationship with DB Cargo, provided £1,000 of sponsorship, as well as pre-event performance coaching sessions under its ‘Genius Performance’ development programme.

Ricky Wright, head of sales at Ford & Stanley’s Talentwise arm, said: “We’d like to extend our congratulations to all of them for their amazing efforts.
