Entries open for Generation Next awards

Entries are now open for awards backed by East Midlands Chamber that celebrate the region’s top young professionals.

The Next Generation Awards aim to recognise standout apprentices, young entrepreneurs and future leaders among 18 to 40 year olds in the region.

Generation Next is a chamber network that mentors the region’s young leaders, delivers skills workshops and provides resources for learning and development to nurture the business talent of tomorrow.

Its annual awards is one of the most important events in the network’s calendar.

Lucy Robinson, director of resources at East Midlands Chamber and Generation Next lead, said: “Landing a Generation Next award or being nominated for one tells the whole East Midlands business community that you’re ‘one to watch’ – someone that either already has the skills to drive business forward or demonstrates the exceptional rising talent we need tomorrow.”

The award categories are Apprentice of the Year, Excellence in Customer Service, Entrepreneur of the Year, Future Leader, Innovator of the Year, Talent Development, Community Impact Champion and Emerging Talent.
