Derbion is set to welcome a string of festive pop-up shops over the coming weeks.

The retail and leisure destination has announced that several pop-up stores will appear in the run up to Christmas.

After being shortlisted as a finalist in Derbion’s Hatch competition this year, which aims to support independent retailers, Cryptocrystals’ pop-up shop will arrive at the centre on Monday 20 November.

Offering a variety of crystal products, the pop-up will be located on Level 1, near Frasers, until Tuesday 30 January.

Returning for a second year, Katie Astle, a finalist in the centre’s 2022 Hatch initiative, will have also have a festive pop-up on Level 2 of the centre, offering handmade luxury candles and home fragrances.

There will also be a range of artisan stalls including Leaf Gifts, House of Candles, My Personalised Gift Hub and Accessories Boutique, alongside the Calendar Club pop-up and a new stand specialising in sports merchandise, Fan Club.

Beth McDonald, managing director at Derbion, said: “We’re committed to providing local businesses with prime retail space over the Christmas period, so we’re pleased to welcome retailers that have directly benefitted from our Hatch initiative, as well as a variety of returning pop-up artisan stalls, to Derbion.”
