Deal secured for former Co-op

A national convenience store chain has taken over a former Co-op store in a deal secured by BB&J Commercial.

One Stop Stores has agreed a deal for the store in Chesterfield Road, Staveley.
Following a new fit out and more residential developments popping up in the area, it is hoped that the reinvention of the space will draw more consumers to the area.

Oscar Heap, agency surveyor at BB&J and agent responsible for the property said: “It was a brilliant result to secure a lease to a national operator such as One Stop.

“They have committed to a long lease and invested significantly in refurbishing the existing store.

“The area is seeing a great deal of redevelopment with residential developments popping up all down Staveley Road.

“I’m sure that once opened later this year, One Stop will serve as a great addition.”
