Conveyancing firm toasts record-breaking month

Conveyancing and legal services firm SortRefer, part of the Sort Group, is celebrating a landmark achievement after delivering its best-ever month in July.

The company, which has its head office in Derby, recorded its highest ever performance across several key areas, underpinned by strategic innovation, increased market demand and continued investment in technology and customer service.

Total instructions rose by 5%, while total completions increased by 6% compared to previous bests.

Scotland also emerged as a key growth region, recording the highest number of transactional instructions, reflecting SortRefer’s expanding footprint and growing influence in the UK market.

Survey services experienced “exceptional” demand, with survey instructions increasing by 15% and completions climbing by 17%, both setting new company records.

In addition, remortgage and purchase transactions recorded their highest instruction figures to date.

One of the standout achievements in July was the surge in independent legal advice instructions, which soared by 67% over the previous best.

In addition, SortRefer recorded the highest number of new registrations in a single month to date, further demonstrating the platform’s growing popularity among mortgage professionals.
