Conveyancing firm reports record month

Conveyancing and legal services specialist SortRefer, which is part of the Sort Group, has reported a record-breaking month.

In October, the company, which has its head office in Derby, achieved several significant milestones across multiple service areas, setting new benchmarks for both completions and revenue performance.

Instructions revenue rose by 5% compared to October 2024, while the firm saw a record number of overall conveyancing completions, up 11% on the previous best month in July 2025.

It also recorded its highest ever remortgage completions, increasing by 8% compared with the previous best, along with the highest-ever levels of standard remortgage, transfer of equity, and equity release, which were up collectively by 3% on its previous best figures from March.
