Charity’s cunning plan to raise funds

Tickets have gone on sale for an evening with RSPCA Derby patron Sir Tony Robinson, which will raise money for the charity as it celebrates its 150th anniversary.

Taking place at Derby Leisure and Events Venue on Thursday 29 September, Sir Tony will talk about his career, from acting in Blackadder and presenting Time Team, to writing numerous books and TV shows. He will also talk about adopting his dog from the charity.

The RSPCA is looking for businesses and organisations from the Marketing Derby Bondholder community to sponsor the evening, in exchange for a table of 10, a full-page advert in the event programme and a meet and greet with Sir Tony at the end of the evening.

And it is also appealing for prizes for a raffle to be held during the event, with all proceeds going to its animal centre.
