Charity urges Bondholders to hold fundraising fuddles

Rebuild East Midlands is urging fellow Marketing Derby Bondholders to register for its Festive Fuddle fundraising event.

Companies are being encouraged to hold a fuddle, while at the same time raising much-needed cash to support survivors of exploitation and modern slavery.

A Festive Fuddle fundraising pack will be sent to everyone who registers to host an event.

Raising donations at your event for Rebuild East Midlands will help provide support to survivors of modern slavery to help them regain control of their lives and be free from exploitation.

In Derby and Derbyshire, it is estimated that there are more than 1,000 people who are trapped in situations where their freedom has been taken away, whether that is through forced labour, sexual or criminal exploitation, domestic servitude, or any other form of modern slavery.

Taking part in Festive Fuddle will help ensure that individuals receive the right long-term practical, emotional and community support, which helps them recover and rebuild their lives.
