Charity announces return of festive run fundraiser

Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity has announced the return of its popular Derby Santa Run, which will raise money for a number of Marketing Derby Bondholder charities.
The event, which is due to take place at Markeaton Park on Sunday 30 November, sees adults, children and even dogs take part in a 5k festive fun run.
This year, runners can choose to raise funds for Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity or one of eight partner charities, including Children First Derby, Over the Wall Camp, Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre, Rebuild East Midlands, Derbyshire Cricket Foundation and Umbrella.

This year’s event is proudly supported by trentbarton as headline sponsor.
Managing director Tom Morgan said: “We’re incredibly proud to be the headline sponsor of the Derby Santa Run.
“Supporting Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity means helping raise vital funds for the incredible care they provide in our communities – and we’re thrilled to be part of such a festive and meaningful event.”
Every entry includes a free Santa suit and beard, a finisher’s medal and access to meet both the charity’s mascot Lambie and the event’s eight partner charities.
