Car dealer funds school’s wellbeing space

Car dealer Ron Brooks Toyota has made a donation to a local primary school to help create a new wellbeing space.

The business decided to fund the space at Scargill C of E Primary School in response to pressures the children have faced on their routines over the last few years.

It donated £1,600 to help build the space, where they can relax in safe, peaceful surroundings.

The space was completed last month in time for the children to enjoy throughout the summer.

Kevin Slack, managing director at Ron Brooks, said: “To be given the chance to help the school and the children in our local community is another proud moment for us and one we want to continue into the future with Toyota.

“The school is at the heart of the local community, so it was an ideal practical project aimed at achieving durable change in the community.”
