The organisers of this year’s Derbion Ramathon and Ram 5 Mile are appealing for volunteers to help with the event.

The Ramathon is the oldest and biggest event of its kind in Derbyshire. It was organised by Run for All for the first time in 2018.

The race, which starts and finishes in Iron Gate, has proved to be an extremely popular addition to Run for All’s events calendar, attracting thousands of runners raising cash for good causes.

For this year’s event, which takes place on Sunday 30 June, volunteers are needed for a variety of roles, including route marshals, finish processing, baggage, race office and drink stations.

In a statement, Run for All said: “We need your help to make next year even bigger and better than ever before.

“We are looking for volunteers to support the event on the day in multiple roles.”

In return, volunteers receive free race entry to future Run for All events (excluding marathons).
