Business processes firm Document Network Services has announced it has officially gone carbon neutral.

The Pride Park firm is offsetting the carbon dioxide it creates by planting trees, following a link up with Co-Treetment, a charity which specialise in planting trees to create woodland spaces within the East Midlands.

The firm is also offsetting the carbon produced from the solutions it offers to its customers, such as printers.

Darren Marsh, managing director at DNS, said: “Since DNS opened its doors back in 1996, being innovative and forward-thinking was at the forefront of our business plans.

“Therefore, it is of upmost importance for us to be able to offer solutions that continuously evolve, boost productivity, and eliminate waste.

“We are very proud to be carbon neutral and are very much looking forward to getting stuck in by physically planting trees ourselves this year too.”
