Brewery unveils fresh new look

Derby Brewing has lifted the lid on its updated brand, which is designed to reflect its modern, award-winning beers.

The updated brand – designed by Mark Grey at Blue Nectar – includes a new logo, glassware, beer pump clips and bottle labels.

As part of the rebrand, it will also make changes to its website, social channels and other media.

The new logo still incorporates the Derby ram but into a more modern, minimalistic design, and alongside new pump clips – of which the design and shape is based around the ‘D’ of Derby – which follows through to the bottle labels for the brewery’s beers.

As part of the project, the brewery is also expanding its bottle range over the coming months to include three more of its core beers – Penny’s Porter, Mercia IPA and Dashingly Dark.

Paul Harris, managing director of Derby Brewing, said: “It’s been over a decade since our last redesign and we wanted to bring our branding bang up to date to better reflect the beers we brew, while never forgetting our Derby heritage.

“We are delighted with the results, and feel we now combine great beers with a great branding, reflecting the big evolution of the beer industry.”
