Boyband JLS to play Darley Park Weekender
Derby LIVE has confirmed that ‘boyband royalty’ JLS will play this year’s Darley Park Weekender.
The band, which is made up of Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams, JB Gill, and Marvin Humes, will headline the Saturday night slot of the three-day music extravaganza, which will take place in August.
They join Billy Ocean and Marti Pellow, who have already been announced as headliners for the Friday night.

JLS will play Derby following a 16-date tour in 2025, which saw them perform to sold-out arenas across the UK, including two landmark nights at London’s 20,000-capacity O2 Arena.
Councillor Nadine Peatfield, leader of Derby City Council and cabinet member for city centre, regeneration, strategy and policy, said: “The weekend promises two spectacular nights of music for the city, so get your friends together and book in for an unforgettable weekend.”
The Darley Park Weekender takes place from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 August.
Tickets for Saturday 22 August are now on general sale.
