Bondholders urged to vote for inspirational pair

YMCA Derbyshire is calling on fellow Bondholders to help two inspirational individuals win national recognition.

Matt Sewell and Jack Baines have been named as finalists for the YMCA Youth Matters Awards.

The competition has now entered the live voting stage – and YMCA Derbyshire is urging Bondholders to vote for them.

Matt is shortlisted for Young Volunteer of the Year. From joining YMCA Derbyshire’s playschemes as a child to volunteering locally and internationally, he has dedicated his life to supporting young people.

Meanwhile, Jack is a finalist in the Young Achiever of the Year category.

After losing his father and home in the same week, the 18-year-old found hope at YMCA.

Now excelling in A-levels and moving to university to study medicine, he volunteers and inspires others to keep going despite adversity.
