Derby City Council is encouraging Marketing Derby Bondholders to take advantage of new advertising space at its revamped bus stops across the city.

Back in 2022, the city council partnered with Clear Channel to revitalise the bus stops, replacing the traditional shelters and advertising units.

Around 90 new bus shelters are being introduced, over 40 of which have ‘living roofs’, also known as ‘Bee Bus Stops’, to help enhance biodiversity.

They also possess modern digital screens, providing businesses an opportunity to advertise.

Among the organisations who have already done so is the University of Derby, which has used the screens to promote open days, courses, and adult education.

Clear Channel is now offering special advertising rates for local businesses.
