Bondholders triumph at Family Business Awards

Cubo and Morley Hayes have tasted success at awards which recognise the best family businesses in the region.

Both firms triumphed at the recent Midlands Family Business Awards, which took place at Kelham Hall, in Nottinghamshire.

Organised by insurance and financial services provider The Wilson Organisation, the awards aim to recognise the success, achievements, and innovations of family businesses across the region.

At the awards, hotel, golf and restaurant complex Morley Hayes was named Employer of the Year.

Meanwhile, flexible office provider Cubo carried off the Rising Stars Award, while also being highly commended in the Construction and Property Excellence category.

Fellow Marketing Derby Bondholder HSG UK was also highly commended in the Sustainability category.

Cubo has much to celebrate at the moment having recently expanded into Scotland.

The firm has officially launched its latest office, Cubo Edinburgh.

Based in Princes Street, the new site offers 16,000 sq ft workspace across two floors, with 360 desks available.

Earlier this year, Cubo, which was launched by property investors Marc and Rebecca Brough, set out plans to open four new workspaces by the end of 2023.

Cubo Edinburgh will be its seventh site, with a Manchester site to be announced shortly.

The firm began life by opening its first office site, Cubo Derby, in Victoria Street.

Marc, who is chief executive at Cubo, said: “We are delivering on our plans to roll-out the Cubo brand nationally and are excited to have launched our first flex office space in Scotland, and in what we believe is Edinburgh’s most amazing office location.

“The new space continues our rapid expansion and reinforces our commitment to opening in the very best locations across all the UK’s core cities.”
